I also loved that it was well situated for sightseeing, with many wineries within walking distance. The rooms were well equipped, including a well-resourced kitchen. I especially appreciated the open shower and the fact that there were 2 bedrooms, perfect for families or larger groups. The book of information in the unit was a nice touch, providing all the necessary details about the hotel and the area. Additionally, having the option of a nearby cafe for breakfast was a great convenience.

The mattress was a bit bouncy and could be improved.

We had a fabulous stay at Wine Country Motel. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, providing us with the comfort we needed for our extended family trip. The motel's location in Havelock North was also convenient for our cricket tournament. The hospitality of the hosts, Tom and Kim, was exceptional. The pool and BBQ area were a great addition, perfect for relaxing with the family. we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning on our next visit to the Hawkes Bay.

The accommodations could use a renovation to refresh the look of the property. While the cleanliness was excellent, the single beds in the lounge area didn't offer a comfortable seating arrangement and the main bed was too soft.
